ONE DOWN!

WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT, ONE MONTH DOWN!
And the verdict about the new job.
Only 359 more months to go.  That’s if I can retire at 62…if not then I guess just adjust it.
What comments, thoughts, criticisms, or feelings do I have may you ask?
Well, a few; I guess now that it’s been a month.  Some good things, some hate, some things that are things; it’s all what it is and I’m not really feeling any certain way about any of it, but…
The hate: Never give the good news first. It’ll just seem overzealous and pompous without cause.  The things I hate are really, only gripes and general bitch mode complaints.  For instance, I HATE EVERYTHING to do with mobile home units, duct board, and metal pipe by the box.  All stuffs that are just big and awkwardly heavy.  Also, not a fan of the box truck…it just drives like a brick in heat.
The whatever:  The guys.  All the in-your-endos… just always on… [eyes roll].  And the fact that Tom and Alex call me by anything BUT my name, version of, or by the nickname I gave them, Monkey Boy.  And still learning the system and trying to remember where everything is.  Like I said, it’s all whatever.
The good:  LOVIN’ IT!!!!!  The guys I work with are great guys.  Always willing to help and make sure I learn what I need to learn and learn it the right way the first time.  If I have a question, I never feel dumb about asking them for clarification or for help to figure something out.  The work is some heavy lifting at times which I am not used to.  All past jobs have been retail or food service; biggest thing I slung was a 50 pound bag of flour into a mixing bowl.  Now I have to sling 100 pound [plus] boxes of metal duct and drag or cart around furnaces and air conditioners off the truck.  And boxes of duct board (4ftx10ftx1in; 6ea in a box, compressed fiberglass) are just the worst and most strenuous thing, especially when I have to do it alone.  I get to plan on a forklift from time to time.  And the best part is the drive time.  Much of my day is driving and I love it.  Lots of the places we go are in the boonies, out on county roads.  Drive time is easy time.  I just turn shuffle all on Amazon Music and go, and go, and load up at the warehouse again for the afternoon... then go, and go…
Of jobs I’ve had; this is the one I think I’ve been looking for.  Nothing a hate about the work or the people; just some hate about the things I work with.  Love my co-workers, love the fact I get paid to just drive a box truck or van around all day.  Love that I have nights and weekends off.  I get paid vacation and holidays.  I have time to do things like this [blog] and hang with friends.
This is the life I’ve been waiting for.  Time to GET SOME!!!!!

ONLY 1559 TO GO!!!!!

First week down at the new job.  I freaking love it.  The guys I’m working with are my kind of people.  The work is way different from anything I’ve ever done; but that’s a good thing.  Heavy lifting and running around a warehouse will help keep me fit.  Also going to hurt my weak ass; I AM NOT USED TO THIS SORT OF WORK!!!!!

I do miss my old co-workers and the antics we had.  Yet, live is about moving forward and making new memories.  I’ll see my old crew from time to time, I know that.  But, the day to day banter we had is going to be missed.

So, yes, first week done, 1559 [1560 = 30 yrs] to go.  I got this!

Bad at this

BAD AT THIS!!!!!

I told you guys I was going to be bad about posting things on here.  Sorry for that!!!

But hey good news! I GOT A NEW JOB!!

This mean I’ll be able to have time to do more things and post as I’ve wanted to.  I’ll be start on the 14th of October, at 2J Supply.  They’re an HVAC retailer.  I’ll be doing warehouse and delivery.  Dayshift with nights and weekends off, vacation time, 401K, profit sharing.  It’s going to be so freaking nice.

So excited and sort of scared; I mean starting a new job is always a nervous thing.  Plus, I will be leaving BOTH Marco’s and Stop N’ Lock.  Since the new job will be paying me $15 per hour, I can do this.  Once I’m settled in with the new gig I may decide to pick up Friday nights at Marco’s; I still have a about $200 to pay on my new mattress set, and need to get my credit card paid down.

It’ll be nice to have time to plan to do things. Hardest thing with working two jobs is that I never had nights off to hang out, only had Sundays FOR SURE, and then some other random night that Marco’s didn’t schedule me. Sure, I had time off, during the day, when everyone else worked; so, I’d be left to loaf if I didn’t have things to do.  Now I’ll have evenings to hang out or do whatever I need to like a normal working schmuck.

One other point about working one job from now on; I won’t be doing twenty-six hours in two days, out of a forty-six plus hour week.  Trust me, the regular time off will be used, hanging out, making dinners for the house. I’ll be able to set better time aside for writing and personal health (my fat ass needs to exercise).

Aside from the new job and be able to live better. Nothing new to report.

Update 2019.9.8

So, another week has gone by. And nothing too major has happened in my life.  Nothing ever does.  There’s plenty to talk about in the lives of my friends; family issues and financial and how I’m absolutely useless to help them, aside from offer a hug or  drank.  …Me….nothing, not really.

Got me a phone interview on Monday for a warehouse/deliver position with a HVAC supplier.  Still trying to figure out if I’m supposed to be naked or fully clothed for that.  Put some applications in at a few other places of like work.  Hoping I here back from the one that starts at $18+ per hour.

Marco’s has been lucrative or complete bullshit; soon as football starts proper it’ll be back to “normal.”  Office has been….the office-shite one day, ok the next; with fuck all in between.  I.E. what should I watch on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon?  Should have VRV by weeks end.

Sunday was a Sunday, dranks and gaming and music and internets and FUCK ALL!!!!! Oh and tastes of rare/expensive whiskeys brought to me by one of my broskis.

On a side note.

The Lord is dead.
            ALL HAIL OUR LORD!!!

WHOOPS I

So, I made a choice and spent twenty dollars out of my last my last seventy dollars for the week to buy “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.”  This sounds bad…and sure yea I should’ve saved my money until pay day.  But I was going to buy this movie sooner than later, and I have no deductions coming this week, so it’s whatever.

This is one of the best Godzilla movies in recent times.  It has its faults….so many.  However, it has a lot going for it.  Best monsters and use of them that I can remember for a compilation theme.  I could write PAGES about Godzilla and his movies and the monsters that show up.

This posting is for two things
ONE:  I should have saved my money; BUT I bought one of the greats is cinema.
            TWO: BEST KILL EVER!!!!!!!!!

OK, so, first of all, Godzilla has never disappointed on bringing the smack down in the end of a fight.  He may not always hold the fight (i.e. be on top from start to finish), yet he always finds the weakness or moment to get the upper hand and win. With all that being said some of his kills are more prolific than others.

Godzilla 2000: HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE KILL OF KILLS!!!!!
He was getting his ass beat, NOT LOOSING, but also not winning.  Then there was the revelation that this thing likes to assimilate whatever goes in its mouth. OH! …so I see…  DIVE! SHOOT!! WINNING!!!!!

            Godzilla (2014): MUTHAFUCKIN MIC DROP!!!!
I mean, COME ON! He had to face down two threats (that he hasn’t before).  The M.U.T.O.’s were bad-ass one-v-one, but team them up and it was quickly visible that they knew each other’s playbook and where to play from it.  THAT TAIL WHIP THROUGH A BUILDING!!!  …ruined his fucking day.  BUT THEN!!!!!  From the back! WITH ALL PREJUDICE!! GIVE ME THAT NECK!!!
Then

Godzilla: King of the Monsters
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS GREAT!!!!!  Best fight ever!!!!! [FIGHT ME ASSHOLE!!!!!]  He KNEW what was coming, he KNEW what he had, he BROUGHT ALL THE RAIN!!!!!  His got beat the truck up as he has; but then, as he has had, people, and other “Titans” that believe in him and trust what he does, vote to save and help him and revived him.  Giving him all that was needed to come back.

AND BY THE GODS DID HE COME THE FUCK BACK!!!!!!!
           He came!
           He saw!!
HE KICKED THAT FUCK-MOTHERING CUNT OF AN ALIEN’S ASS!!!!!!!!!!

Now I just want to know what will bring Godzilla and King Kong together.

How Should I Start My Blog

There are many topics I could start with.  I could start with the description of my childhood and growing up in the 90’s.  talk about how since most of my cousins are older or younger than I am/was that I can associate with adult things and relate to “childish” trappings.  Talk on the topics and struggles of single parenthood; since my Dad was on his own until he remarried when I was about ten.

I could ramble on about music; all the songs I know and love.  Discuss on growing up with country and discovering rock in the junior and senior years of high school.  Talk on all the songs that are timeless or ones that we can’t forget fast enough.  I have four playlists of songs that help me through any mood I’m in.  I could fill plenty days of content about each song and how I relate to it and how it fits in whatever list.

Or movies.  All the genres and crossovers and subgenres.  Who can deliver the best roundhouse?  Which action star is the best; from what decade?  What decade has the best of the best in show?  Remakes; all the good, all the bad, all the ones we never wanted, and the ones we never knew we needed.  Star Trek vs Star Wars.  Which movie I’ve seen over and over and over and over…

Comic books.  Never grew up on them; but discovered all the rage and wallet emptying struggles later.  Are DC or Marvel; then all the reason why and why not.  Comics turned movies and TV; how that affects and effects on industries related to them.

Toys.  All the ones I grew up with and how much I had to beg Santa for them.  And then there’s Santa himself whom still owes me a Power Rangers Ninja Megazord.  I could fill pages with all the toys I wish I still had because of there value.  Was I happier with toys I got brand new down the aisle, or with some of the ones that I got because my older cousins were done with them.

Fill some pages about the state of this world.  How I feel about where I am and where I’m going.  Politics as they relate to me and what I think they are doing for and to the world I live in.

Friends, family, lovers.  What each means to how I’ve grown into the man I am.  Who I know will be around to bury me when I clock out.  Discuss on my love life and why I’m happy being single.

Work.  Hate it; love it.  What does the current work load for me and my friends do to how we relate to other we know.  How easy is it for me to hang out w friends in a week.  How is that different from my other friends and how does that affect or effect.

I could talk abut how many hours I’ve spent playing the Borderlands series of games.  All the other games I’ve grown up with.  Which game I can play again and again; and all the ones that I don’t care at all about.  Or argue is Playstation or XBox the better one.

Then there are all the foods and drinks.  Which whiskey is the greatest ever.  Pizza-brands, things that go one it, things that should never be seen in a store.  What I like to cook the most; where I learned to cook.

So many things to talk about, where should I even begin?

            Oh…would you look at that.
Word just bumped down to the third page.

Guess I’ll call it here for now.  I’ll find something to ramble about when I start this thing.
